Shia LaBeouf happy with new co-star

22nd September 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Shia LaBeouf thinks its kind of beautiful that Megan Fox has been replaced in Transformers 3.

The Hollywood actor appeared opposite Megan in the first two films of the action franchise, but has been replaced as the female lead by British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who will play Shias character Sam Witwickys new love interest Carly.

Shia thinks that introducing a new star to the movie will add a fresh dimension which he feels the earlier films were lacking.

It's awesome that we get the discovery again. I think when everybody's vetted and everybody's been through these wars, then that discovery of the first film is nonexistent. It's kind of beautiful in that we get a new set of eyes, a fresh set of eyes for the audience to vibe with. So you get the discovery again, which is something that wouldn't happen if Megan came back," he told MTV.

Transformers 3 is set for general release next year and Shia thinks his beautiful new co-star is doing great in her acting debut. He then offered some words of advice to Rosie, admitting that she can never truly prepare for working with the movies notoriously demanding director Michael Bay.

"You can only do so much. Fight or flight. A tap on the back and a 'Good luck!' " teased Shia. (C) Cover Media
