Immensely talented and always on his toes, filmmaker Subhash Ghai gave a string of hit films. His rich style of filmmaking earned him a nickname of 'Showman of Bollywood'.

Here on his birthday, we take a look at the actresses who were introduced by him.

Dhak Dhak girl, Madhuri Dixit was already successful in her career and Ghai signing her for two films – 'Ram Lakhan' and 'Khalnayak' made her the most desirable diva of tinsel town. Her dance number Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai from Khalyanak is still remembered by the audience.

Then came Manisha Koirala. Her Bollywood debut was nothing less than a dream for her; she featured in the hit film 'Saudagar'. After which there was no looking back for the actress.

Blue eyed beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan must be thanking Ghai for one of the most memorable roles of her career. The former Miss World received loads of appreciation for her role in 'Taal'.

Star kid Kareena Kapoor Khan too worked with him in the very beginning of her career in 'Yaadein'. Warmhearted filmmaker also got together lovebirds Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan on screen in the 'Yuvvraaj'.

Ghai's obsession of working with the actresses, whose names started with 'M', made Ritu Chaudry change her name to Mahima Chaudhry and that's how we got a pretty face romancing Shah Rukh Khan in the movie 'Pardes'.

Today's most versatile actress Priyanka Chopra got an opportunity to work with him too. Her romantic thriller 'Aitraaz' was produced by his production house.

Miss Hawaii Hawaii Sridevi featured 'Karma' whereas Dream girl, Hema Malini, who has been charming us with her beauty for so many years was seen in Ghai's film 'Krodhi' in an extended special appearance
