Shruti Haasan debuted in Kollywood in 2011 and has spelled success in this short span. 

The actress has given back to back hits and makes everyone wonder if her father Kamal haasan has any influence over her decisions of selecting the film in the first place. 

"I listen to the scripts that come my way and choose what's good for me. I can only ask suggestions from my dad, and not thrust on him the job of getting me a film," says Shruti. 

"I would never ask him to pull in a favor, and neither would he try to impose himself on me and my choices,” she further expresses.
