On the occasion of sibling day on Sunday April 10, 2016, actress Huma Qureshi tweeted, "Happy Sibling day @Saqibsaleem Proud to be his partner in crime and co-actor in #Dobaara releasing Sept 2016." Where she mentioned about her new project featuring her brother Saqib Saleem and also the release date of the film.

The movie is officially adapted from film 'Oculus' which was released in the year 2013. 'Oculus' is the story of a brother and sister battling paranormal activity. Saqib and Huma will be essaying the characters played by Karen Gillan and Brenton Thwaites in the film.

'Dobaara' is presented by B4U relativity and Prawaal Raman film. Apart from Huma and Saqib, the film also features Adil Hussain, Lisa Ray and Madalina with Rhea Chakraborty making a special appearance.

The film is produced by Ishaan Saxena, Vikra Khakkar, Prawaal Raman and Sunil Shaham and is supposed to be released in September 2016.
