Siddharth is all smiles, for two main reasons - firstly for the good feedback to his last week's release Oh My Friend, and secondly, about signing an English film.
Roger Spottiswoode, best known for his James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies, is working on a movie on mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan starring Siddharth.
Spottiswoode sais that the film is not a biography of Ramanujan, who dies at a young age of 32, but about his friendship with G H Hardy, the English mathematician who first spotted his talent in Cambridge.
Titled as The First Class Man, the film's scripting is done and shooting is being scheduled from next year. "Siddharth recently visited Roger in England and listened to the script. He was thoroughly impressed," says a source.
