Sri Rama Rajyam, a film based on Lord Rama, with Balakrishna and Nayanthara in lead roles, is all set to be dubbed and released in Tamil under the same title.

"Both the Tamil and Telugu versions will hit the screens on the same day. Veteran lyricist Piraisoodan is working on the dialogues and lyrics for the Tamil version,' say sources.

It has come into notice that distributors in Tamil Nadu are qouting high prices to get the release rights, as mythological movies earn a good amount of profit there, in addition to the fact that Sri Rama Rajyam is reported to be the last film starring Nayanthara.

Balakrishna, who plays Rama in the film, is the son of Late N. T. Rama Rao who was known for all the mythological characters he played throughout his acting career. The actor says his father was an inspiration when it came to playing this role, and hopes that his role as Lord Rama will appeal to the audience.
