Film financier Ramamurthy recently filed a case against Silambarasan and his father claiming that Silambarasan had slapped him across his face and threatened to kill him. Silambarasan has said that his allegations are completely baseless.

According to Silambarasan, the financier has filed a false case against them and in fact, when the said incident happened, he wasn't even there in the city, he was at the Osthi shooting in Mysore. The actor also said that he can prove that the financier is unnecessarily creating trouble for him.
