A lot of celebrities have been attacked with false death rumours on social networking sites, and the latest victim was legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.

After veteran actress Nanda's demise, there was a buzz of Lata Mangeshkar dying of a heart attack too.

However, the singer took on to her microblogging page and shunned all rumors writing, "Namaskar. Meri tabiyat ke baare mein afwaayein phail rahi hai. Par aap sab ka pyar aur duaaien hain ke meri tabiyat bilkul thik hai." (There are rumors about my health being spread, but because of your love and prayers my health is absolutely fine).

All her fans can now breathe a sigh of relief.
