(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Simon Pegg thinks Jack Nicholson is the only person who can get away with wearing sunglasses indoors.

The 40-year-old actor is best known for his roles in quirky comedies such as Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, and is fast becoming one of the movie industrys top comedy stars. Despite being hugely successful, Simon doesnt consider himself to be a big star, and admits he would never act like a diva by wearing sunglasses inside.

The modest star thinks its only A-listers such as 73-year-old Hollywood icon Jack who can get away with such showbiz behaviour.

Jack Nicholson is the only person who can pull it off, because hes earned it, argued Simon.

Simon is known for being self-deprecating, often describing himself as being nerdy and uncool. For that reason, he doesnt think he would be able to pull off the look. Even though sometimes Ive wanted to. I just cant, in all good conscience, pull it off, he lamented.

Simons belief that he isnt hip also extends to his nickname. The star revealed that people tried to call him Peggster, but he thought it made him sound too trendy.

Peggy. Thats what I get called the most, he replied when asked what his friends call him. Peggster to a lesser extent. If I could choose one, Peggster is slightly self-aggrandising. Its a bit cool. Peggys nice. (C) Cover Media
