(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Slash has asked for his divorce petition to be dismissed after reconciling with his wife.

The former Guns N Roses guitarist married model Perla Ferrar in October 2001. The couple have two sons together, London Emilio and Cash Anthony. The star filed for divorce in August, citing irreconcilable differences, and papers revealed they had actually split the previous month.

Slash has now requested the Los Angeles County Superior Court cancel the petition, with his representative confirmed he is no longer seeking to end the union.

At the time of the split, relations between Slash and Perla were said to be tumultuous. He even hired famed attorney Laura Wasser to represent him, and was seeking joint physical and legal custody of the kids.

The 45-year-old musician previously admitted he and Perla used to have a wild relationship, comparing their blazing arguments to the turbulent romance between Sex Pistols rocker Sid Vicious and his lover Nancy Spungen.
