The 30-year-old socialite is best known as one of the stars of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, a television show following the antics of her and her family.

Kim is one of the worlds highest earning reality television stars and has fans all over the globe, who will no doubt be thrilled to learn of her musical ambitions.

The website TMZ claims Kim has been in the studio recording with coveted music mogul The-Dream, who has worked on hits including Rihannas smash hit Umbrella and Beyonc Knowles anthem Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).

Upon hearing the news, music insiders have been eagerly trying to guess what kind of sound Kim will go for. According to a source who heard the beautiful stars recording session, Kim boasts a really good voice.

In the meantime, Kim may decide to take a rest from working as she recently suffered a minor injury. The self-confessed klutz took to the social-networking site Twitter to tell her fans about breaking her toe.

I knew my clumsiness would catch up with me at some point! I tripped on a suit case on the floor and broke my toe :-( (sic), lamented the star. (C) Cover Media
