Snooki's pregnancy has reportedly caused friction with her co-star.

Jenni JWoww' Farley and Snooki, real name Nicole Polizzi, were set to be party girls in their spin-off from the hit reality TV show Jersey Shore.

But now the 24-year-old is expecting a child with her fianc Jionni LaValle, it has thrown a spanner in the works of not only the show but the pair's friendship.

"They are having to redo the creative direction of the spin-off because of the pregnancy," an insider told Star magazine.

"Jenni thought the show was supposed to be about their friendship, and now Snooki is causing so much drama because of the baby. She's fed up with Snooki getting all the attention."

Sources say that the girls are not getting along during filming at all.

"They're just fighting all the time," a source told the publication. "When they're on camera, they act like nothing is wrong but there's so much animosity between them when the camera's down. It's uncomfortable for everyone."

Another of Snooki's Jersey Shore co-stars is thrilled her friend is pregnant. Sammi Sweetheart' Giancola thinks the star will be a brilliant mother.

"It's not like she's 16 and pregnant," she told E! News. "She's doing her thing, she's living her life and I just think she's blessed. I can't wait to see a little guido or guidette running around. I just think it's going to be so exciting.

"Snooki is going to be a fun parent."

Sammi added that if the tot is a girl she will splash out on some "baby bronzer" for her.
