Snooki has added fuelled marriage rumours after she was photographed yesterday wearing what looked like an engagement ring.

The Jersey Shore star, real name Nicole Polizzi, flashed the large diamond sparkler as she went for a walk with her dog and co-star Jennifer "JWoww" Farley in Jersey City.

The reality show pair were filming scenes for their new spin-off series.

Snooki, 24, has not yet confirmed the nuptial reports or those that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jionni LaValle.

The boisterous starlet has made no secret of her desire to marry Jionni and hinted earlier this year that her boyfriend would propose.

"I know he's the one so I know the ring's gonna come soon," she said recently. "Well, not soon-soon. He knows it should be big, cuz if it's small I'm saying no. Like, 'Get another ring!'"

Although Snooki is still keeping quiet on if she is pregnant, she has been staying clear of her usual tight fitting attire opting for baggy clothes of late.

Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend Emilio Masella has denied that he hoped Snooki would have a miscarriage.

"I never, ever would say that I hope Snooki has a miscarriage," he told RadarOnline. "What I meant is that I hope she's not really pregnant because I want a future with her and don't want her having a child with some other dude."

But even talking about his former flame may land him in legal trouble as Emilio received a warning from Snooki's lawyers last month threatening to sue him if continued to allege that Snooki's unborn child is not fathered by Jionni.

"Demand is hereby made that you cease and desist from making any additional public statements regarding Ms. Polizzi that could in any way be taken to be offensive by her," the document stated.
