(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sofia Vergara says having her son at an early age gave her "the energy for everything", but does not "even want to think about" having more kids.
The 39-year-old Colombian actress and star of hit American comedy series Modern Family has a 19-year-old son Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara. Although in the prime of her youth at the time she gave birth, Sofia has no regrets about having a child that early on.
"When I had Manolo, I was 19, and I had the energy for everything," Sofia told Redbook magazine.
Young and overflowing with vigour, Sofia handled the challenges of motherhood well in her twenties. Nowadays the thought of taking care of babies is not nearly as appealing.
"My boyfriend now wants to have kids, and I don't even want to think about it," admitted Sofia. "I would have to get into that mind-set again, the waking up early."
Sofia is busy with several projects, including promoting her newest summer film The Smurfs. She is also starring alongside Zac Efron, Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker and Ashton Kutcher in upcoming movie New Year's Eve, which is scheduled to be released in December. (C) Cover Media
