Festival songs are a huge hit with Indians and most popular among these are the hit popular 'Govinda' numbers.

Some of the all time favorite of these numbers have been filmed on Indian superstar Shatrughan Sinha. And the veteran was more than happy to see his daughter Sonkashi Sinha carrying out the legacy with her special 'Govinda' song in Akshay Kumar's 'Oh My God'. 

The film is Akshay Kumar's production which has his 'Rowdy Rathore' team Sonakshi Sinha and Prabhu Deva gyrating to the festive number. The teaser of the number was recently released. 

However, Shatrughan could not catch it, as he recently had a bypass surgery. But as he was keen on watching the song, a special CD was made and shown on a laptop. 

He was very happy to see his daughter do what he did in past, "Popular 'Govinda' numbers like 'Shor Mach Gaya Shor Dekho Aaya Maakhan Chor' and 'Teen Batti Waala Govinda Aala' were filmed on me, so I enjoyed Sonakshi's 'Go Go Govinda' from Akshay's film. I feel fortunate that Govinda songs are all in the family," said Shatrughan.
