It was reported earlier this week that Sonakshi Sinha had shot for an intimate scene in 'Lootera' with Ranveer Singh, and that the shot was supervised by her mother Poonam Sinha.

The latest news from sources close to the actress is that Sonakshi is quite furious about the rumor, which according to her is essentially a 'cheap' stunt to create a buzz as the movie gears up for a release next week.

The movie production team was busy with the damage control as a spokesperson shared that the director had informed Sonakshi on the intimate scene requirement and the actress had agreed to shoot for the scene as well. Given Sonakshi is a true professional, she does not require her mother or anyone else to supervise her shoots on the sets, and the news of Poonam being on the sets was simply a rumor.

We are sure to see more of Sonakshi in the coming days as she along with Ranveer will be busy promoting their film which hits the theatres next week.
