Despite a few failures at the box office like 'Himmatwala' and 'RGV's Aag' (remake of 'Sholay'), remakes have proved to be a successful money-making formula at the box office.

Remakes of Amitabh Bachchan's 'Don' with Shah Rukh Khan, and 'Agneepath' with Hrithik Roshan turned out to be big blockbusters too, and Big B's 'Zanjeer' remake with Priyanka Chopra and South star Ram Charan is all set to release this September.

Now, the latest news is that producer Jayantilal Gada has managed to bag the remake rights of Big B's films, 'Andha Kanoon' and 'Aakhree Raasta'.

Gada, who last delivered the hit 'Kahaani' with Vidya Balan is currently, busy gearing up for the release of Prateik Babbar and Amyra Dastur starrer 'Issaq'.
