Celebrated Fashionista and an actress of her own league, Bollywood's quirky personality Sonam Kapoor always has had the penchant to pick different roles.
While she has had played the girl-next-door characters in run-of-the-mill films like 'I Hate Luv Storys', 'Aisha' and 'Bewakoofiyaan' but she has always played the desi belle in films like 'Raanjhanaa, 'Delhi 6' and 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'.
After playing the love interest to the main character in Milkha Singh's biopic, the actress apparently will soon feature in another biopic. This time, instead of playing a love interest, the actress is in talks to play the lead role of renowned painter Amrita Sher-Gil, known as India's Frieda Kahlo, in the talked about biopic.
The actress is reportedly in talks with the painter's family for the rights and formalities. The talked about art legend Amrita Sher-Gil was a pre Independence painter born to a Punjabi Sikh father and a Hungarian Jewish mother.
She lived in France and India before she died in 1941. The planned biopic will revolve around Gil's lesser known personal life.
