Sonam Kapoor’s car chase sequence in the film 'Players' is hogging more headlines than expected. The actress who has executed a middle finger act while driving the mini cooper in the film first caught the spot light for her bold action.
Later she made it to the news for her rigorous practice that went in before she gave her first shot with the car. And now we got our hands on some news that created small ripples amongst the crew.
Sonam who was asked to practice driving the manually-handled Mini cooper, on the very first day of her practice session had hit a lamp post which caused little damage to the car. She accelerated while reversing and banged into a lamp post. Action director Allan Amin however was finally convinced of her performance after days of rehearsing. While Sonam indulged in these few action sequences, her co-stars Abhishek Bachchan and Neil Nitin Mukesh performed some death defying action stunts as well. The film directed by Abbas-Mustan is slated to release on 6th January 2012.
