Dhanush is brimming with optimism and joy. Firstly, he is over joyed by the release of Mayakkam Enna today. Secondly, he is overwhelmed by the laurels he received from Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, the two great icons of Indian Cinema.

Both, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, have appreciated Dhanush for 'Why this kolaveri di...,' the song he penned and crooned for his upcoming next, 3, directed by his wife, Aishwarya.

"I am thankful to Amitabh ji for his kind words. And Rajinikanth is very thrilled as well. He is very happy about the song. He is proud that Aishwarya has stepped out of his shadow and has carved a niche for herself in the industry," says Dhanush.
