22nd July 2014

Bollywood fashionista, Sonam Kapoor recently released the trailer of her upcoming film 'Khoobsurat'.

While the poster received positive responses from all ends, the trailer received mixed reviews.

Many present of social media platforms compared the trailer to Amanda Bynes-Colin Firth starrer 'What a Girl Wants'.

According to reports, besides the trailer being a rip-off, a newspaper report also stated that the song 'Engine ki seeti me maaro man dole', is a straight lift of an Alka Yagnik track composed by Anu Malik for a 90's film.

Sonam reacted to this on her microblogging page saying, "Mr Ankur Pathak of mumbai mirror. It's a pity you don't do research before writing articles, enjun ki seeti is an old Rajasthani folk song!".

Also, with regards to comparisons with the Hollywood flick, spokesperson of the film stated, "No, the Hollywood film has a completely different storyline."
