Bollywood heavyweight Salman Khan recently during the trailer launch of the film 'Hero', introduced the film's lead protagonist Sooraj Pancholi to the media.
Apparently, during the introduction, the debutant actor got emotional and burst into tears which made Salman jokingly exclaim, "Sorry, Sooraj is my heroine, Athiya is the hero."
Sooraj then turned to Salman and emotionally said, "This is a dream launch, I don't think I could have asked for anything better. There are people out there who are more talented and good-looking, but they haven't made it here, I have."
Acknowledging the fact that he sees a lot of himself in Sooraj, Salman went into a reminiscive mood about his own debut in Bollywood and said, "It was a confusing time. I didn't know if Biwi Ho Toh Aisi would do well or flop.God has been very kind to me, and it's He who's given me this thought to spread all the love that people gave me when I was coming in."
A very emotional Sooraj Pancholi further added, "I remember Salman sir had called me and I didn't know who it was till Arpita informed me that bhai was calling. I met him at a studio where he asked me to work as an assistant to Kabir Khan on Ek Tha Tiger."
