(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Soulja Boy has splashed out $55 million on a private jet, it has been reported.

The American rapper and record producer has decided to treat himself to a new G5 to celebrate turning 21 yesterday. The jet cost $35 million and Soulja Boy has chosen to fork out a further $20 million on furnishing the aircraft.

"We're told the birthday boy is dropping an additional $20 million to pimp out his ride with all sorts of cool stuff... like 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets," reports TMZ.

The music star who is known for songs including Crank That (Soulja Boy) is also keen to refurbish the toilets and has ordered a lavish new bathroom to be installed.

To ensure the world knows who the jet belongs to, Soulja Boy has decided to have the aircraft re-painted to include his logo.

The rapper was also planning to celebrate his birthday in style by throwing a lavish party this week. He invited a host of friends and family to join him at a Miami nightclub for the bash. Famous faces including Sean Kingston, Bow Wow and Dwight Howard were all believed to be attending the $300,000 party. (C) Cover Media
