SRK excited for his upcoming films

7th October 2014

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is travelling the world dancing to the tunes of his upcoming film 'Happy New Year' that is releasing this month on the eve of Diwali. But apart from that film, he also has 3 films lined up in the pipeline.

After the release of 'Happy New Year', he will start Yash Raj's next titled 'Fan' directed by Maneesh Sharma. "I have Fan with YRF and Maneesh. There are two girls in the film. It is a film where I don't think you need a big lady star. It is cosy interesting, different film. It is one of the challenging films that I have done in 20 years. We are still discussing as to how we can take it ahead. It is a story of a fan of a movie star," said SRK.

He has also signed Rahul Dholakia's next titled 'Raees' which he claims is very different from the films he has done so far. "Raees it is a space I have never tried, it is a different film. Rahul Dholakia narrated the film to me and I liked it very much. They are cosy for me as an actor. Then I have Rohit's film and another which I have not signed yet," he added.

SRK has another film with Rohit Shetty. But the details of this one is not finalised yet. However, as a filmmaker himself, the actor plans to expand his horizon and make regional films as well.

"We want to expand and plan to make three-five films a year may be with me or without me but not 10-12. We have started the process. The film has to have quality, essence then only we will make it. We want to take time and make good quality films. I want to make a Marathi film too. Rohit and I were talking about it but nothing concrete has happened. It is a good space. Not just Marathi but any other language film," he concluded.

Looks like the 'King' has some great plans to expand his reign.
