(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Stephen Moyer used to wander around London writing bad poetry and drinking wine when he was single.
The British actor is best known for his role as vampire Bill Compton in the hit US television series True Blood opposite his real-life wife Anna Paquin.
Stephen is thrilled to have found love with Anna, and admits when he was single he used to act like a drunken poet roaming the streets in the manner of Richard E Grants character Withnail from cult 1987 film Withnail and I. The movie is about a pair of drop-outs who want to make it in the acting world.
Im that dude who loved being out of a relationship so I could wander around London in a long coat with a bottle of red, writing c**p poetry thinking I was in Withnail and I, he recalled in an interview with the British edition of Cosmopolitan magazine.
Stephen discussed his romance with Anna, revealing they get on so well because of her ability to talk about her feelings. The actor thinks openness is one of the most important aspects of a relationship.
Annas great at that. If somethings making you uncomfortable, you have to talk about it, advised the star.
He also confessed to having a penchant for fiery women, and joked that most ladies are more intelligent than he is.
Im a big fan of strong women. I want someone whos my intellectual superior. And most women are! he laughed. (C) Cover Media
