Steven Tyler creates one of a kind' engagement ring

29th December 2011

Steven Tyler sought "guidance" from his dedicated jeweller whilst choosing his fianc's engagement ring.

The rock musician's long-term girlfriend Erin Brady accepted Steven's proposal to wed over the Christmas holidays.

The pair cemented their upcoming betrothal with a five-carat diamond and platinum wedding band designed by jeweller Loree Rodkin.

Loree was devoted to creating the perfect ring.

"[Steven] was working, so I picked stones, built settings, showed him choices and sent him pictures on his phone," Loree told People magazine. "He asked for guidance but the choice was his. Having made jewellery for both Erin and Steven made it an effortless process, as I know their taste."

Steven deeply trusts Loree's advice, as he is one of the jeweller's most loyal customers.

"[Erin's ring is] one of a kind, like all of her pieces," one of Loree's representatives explained to the magazine.

"Steven has been a client of Loree's for many years, and often wears rings by her, as well as other jewellery."

Steven and his 38-year-old fianc Erin vacationed in Hawaii over the weekend to celebrate a tropical Christmas together. It is not clear whether 63-year-old Steven proposed before or after the trip.

The couple have been together since 2006.

Erin used to tour with Steven's band Aerosmith as their accountant.
