(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Steven Tyler used to don a fake beard so he wouldn't be pestered when he visited theme parks with his family.

The Aerosmith rocker is known for his unconventional appearance, often wearing tight jeans, beads around his neck and favouring long hair.

His 23-year-old daughter Chelsea has recalled the lengths he went to in order to spend quality time with her when she was little.

"I didn't quite understand why we'd go to Disney World and my dad had to wear a fake beard and a big hat, and keep his head down," she told Ocean Drive magazine. "I was trying to go on rides."

As she got older, Chelsea realised her father didn't always want to be approached by fans when he was going about his business.

She also struggled with the limelight, but that has changed as she's got older. Last year, Chelsea joined her father in a fashion campaign for the rock line Andrew Charles. The collection featured men's and womenswear which was inspired by Steven, with Chelsea also reported to have signed with modelling agency IMG.

"I didn't want the extra attention [when I was younger], but now I don't care... I totally embrace it," Chelsea explained. (C) Cover Media
