Sunny Deol makes a comeback with the upcoming satirical comedy, 'Mohalla Assi'. But the actor seems to fall in legal trouble with the film as a complaint has been filed by a social organisation named, Sarvajan Jagruti Sanstha with the police in Varanasi against the actor and the director of the film.

The film showcases nuances of the holy city, Varanasi but in derogatory terms. With the release of the trailer of the film recently, it attracted the people with mixed reviews and many are offended with the abusive slangs used violating moral ethics.

The complainant said, "The film hurts religious sentiments and we cannot allow such a film to be released." The film is based on a novel 'Kashi Ka Assi' written by acclaimed Hindi writer, Kashinath Singh where Sunny Deol plays a lead role of Sanskrit teacher and an orthodox religious priest while actress, Sakshi Tanwar plays his wife.
