Wow! That was something unexpected as audiences never anticipated that Superstar Rajnikanth would appear in the Telugu version of Chandramukhi sequel titled 'Nagavalli'. The film has Venkatesh playing lead role with Anushka, Kamalini Mukherji, Richa Gangopadhyay, Suja and Poonam Kaur as heroines. In the introduction song, the picture of Venkatesh with various superstars is shown that includes Rajnikanth as well. The greatest highlight of the film is when Superstar Rajnikanth's shots from 'Chandramukhi' are shown as Venkatesh follows the same tactics of him to get a track on mystery prevailing in the house. The entire theatre was studded with continuous whistles and claps as the fans went gaga over the situation. 'Nagavalli' also has the shots of Jyothika of 'Chandramukhi' that are inserted at right places to ensure audiences those who haven't the first part will have an idea about it. Venkatesh's performance has been lauded for his performances in three different get-ups. However, Anushka and Kamalini Mukherji were literally disappointing as they were spotted unskilled in the classical dance of Bharathanatiyam.
