With less than a couple of weeks left for Deepavali, the day his Seventh Sense would hit the screens, Suriya has spilled the beans of the film directed by A R Murugadoss.
"It is a take-off of history, that of Bodhi Dharma, a Buddhist monk who hailed from Kanchipuram. Son of a Pallava king in the 6th century, he later became a monk and preached the teachings of Buddha," the actor says.
"He is still worshipped in China and other parts of the world. But we in India are not aware of him. Hopefully Seventh Sense would bridge the gap", he adds with hope.
On his heroine Shruthi Haasan, he says, "She has proved that she is the daughter of Kamal Haasan, from whom many of us learned cinema and acting. Such a great actress she is and am proud to work with her."
