Just after Anushka Sharma broke the news of tying the knot with Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli on her social media handle, actress Surveen Chawla too opened up about her hush hush wedding in 2015.
The actress shocked everyone as she got hitched to businessman Akshay Thakker in Italy. The couple is now set to welcome their first child. Sharing this sweet news, she shared a picture of a photo frame of them with cute red sneakers placed in the foreground.
She captioned this image as,"Life happens when it chooses to happen, when it wants to happen. And it is happening right now in this very moment, making our blessed and beautiful world even more blessed than what it already is! Yes, there is a miracle taking place, a miracle called life! And we are growing by two little teeny-weeny feet!!"
The baby is due in mid-April 2019. Speaking about the same to a leading daily she said, "It's a beautiful feeling and more so, as it has come completely unexpected for Akshay and me. Suddenly, life has become beautiful. I am looking forward to every step now. Of course, it's unfamiliar territory, but the only one that comes with a guarantee of being wonderful. Akshay and I feel really blessed!"
The actress seemed extremely nervous as she will embrace motherhood for the first time, she further said, "Honestly, initially, the fear of change engulfed me, but later, the beauty of it all started sinking in. Now, I feel like I am embarking on a new journey and adventure of sorts. I don't know how many women will tell you the truth, but the reality is that motherhood is a slow, gradual process. Motherly instincts are not born out of anywhere. Motherhood, to me, is a feeling that grows on you, with the growing life inside you. I think just the fact that women are designed to grow a whole being inside them is a far more superior feeling."
Surveen had also taken break from work in the initial stages of pregnancy however, later decided to continue working as far as she can.
