Taapsee is a thorough professional and knows what she does. Already a popular actress in Tollywood, she is happy about the success of her Tamil film 'Aadukalam'.

The Punjabi girl now waits with bated breath the release of her next 'Vandhan Vendran' opposite Jiiva. Directed by Kannan, the film will be released in Telugu as 'Vachadu Gelichadu'.

Ask about her role in the movie, she says, "I play Anjana, an architect. She’s the daughter of a millionaire who returns to India after studying abroad. She has an independent streak and wants to stand on her own feet".

"Anjana talks a lot but whatever she says makes sense and in the second half her character transforms totally. She becomes serious and you won't get a hint of the way she was earlier. That's director Kannan's script for you!" she adds, giving more details on the film.
