Not ready to face action for not being a member of Telugu Movie Artistes Association, actresses Genelia, Trisha, Samantha, Tamannah and Trisha have decided to enroll themselves in the organisation by following necessary formalities.

"We received the letter and we’ll definitely enroll. In fact, we were always considering it but since we were shooting far away from Hyderabad we were unable to act on the decision," says Tamannah.

"Telugu film industry is like a second home to me. I will sure become a member in MAA at the earliest",  says Trisha. 

Recently, MAA sent notices to all the artistes who have not taken membership yet. It has said that they should join the MAA in the coming 15 days.

President of MAA Murali Mohan said that he will be taking a firm stand on this issue and actors who fail to register before October 1 will have to face strict action.
