Telling people to watch my film is like begging: Nana

28th September 2012

Nana Patekar is one of the highest acclaimed actors of our times. But regardless of all the awards and accolades, it's inspiring to see him keep a low profile throughout.

He who has been in the industry for over decades now recently revealed that he hates the recent trend of promoting films and hence when he was expected to promote his latest release 'Kamaal, Dhamaal, Malamaal', he openly confessed his dislike towards aggressive promotions.

"My work ends when the shoot is over, the dubbing is over. This is not my work to shout and tell people, 'Please watch my film, it is very good'. If it is good, they will watch, if it's bad then they will not," said Nana.

Nana feels that urging people to see the film is like begging, "Times have changed and that's why I have come to talk about the film. But I really feel bad telling people to watch my film, it's like begging. I think if it's good you'll watch, if bad then it will automatically fall," he said.
