Mirchi Shiva and director Amudhan struck gold with Thamizh Padam, which is Kollywood's first full length spoof on cinema. The duo is back, this time in the company of two more young actors- Vaibhav Reddy and Richard. Their film is set to hit the floor soon.
'Though this one too is a hilarious movie, there are some serious elements too. It will be totally different from Thamizh Padam and I am happy to work with Shiva, Vaibhav and Richard,' says Amudhan, who is back to wield the megaphone after a break.
Though most members of Thamizh Padam team are likely to be retained, Amudhan is unable to retain the cinematographer, Nirav Shah. 'Because he is busy with his other commitments, so I am working with Vijay Ulaganathan, who beautifully picturised Thoonga Nagaram.' he says.
Interestingly, both Thamizh Padam and Thoonga Nagaram were produced by Cloud Nine Movies, run by high profile producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri, son of Union Minister M K Alagiri. But the new project is said to be backed by some other production house.
