While not much news has been shared by the family on Jiah Khan's suicide case, it has been speculated that it was either her depression due to lack of work for over two years, or her bitter break-up with her boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi that lead to the actress commiting suicide.

Based on the police authorities, Jiah was going through a roller-coaster ride when it came to her emotions in real-life, and the actress was having suicidal tendencies.

A police officer working on this case also shared that around eight months ago, Jiah had slit her wrist in an attempt to commit suicide, and had to be rushed to the hospital.

Apparently, around that time too, Jiah had a huge argument with her boyfriend Sooraj, and it was in fact Sooraj, who had rushed Jiah to the hospital after her first suicidal attempt. Sooraj had requested the cops not to file a case against Jiah or share any details of the incident with the media.

Jiah's mother Rabiya also confessed that her daughter was depressed, as the actress was extremely worried about her diminishing career in the entertainment world. Rabiya is not blaming Bollywood or Sooraj for Jiah's death, and close friends in the industry too have shared that Jiah was deeply depressed which made her take this harsh step.
