A full-on family entertainer....!!!

Family comedy movies work wonders, and 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2' happens to be the first one of this genre in 2013. Dharmendra and son duo Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol have proved their chemistry in 'Yamla Pagla Deewana' in 2011, and now after two years, they are back with a sequel which promises to be a lot more funnier and crazier.

The story begins in London where Paramveer (Sunny Deol) leads an honest life; he is a strong believer in 'Rabba' and looks towards the sky for all his answers. His sincerity gets him a job as a manager with the multi-millionaire sir Yograj Khanna (Annu Kapoor).

Dharam (Dharmendra) and Gajodhar a.k.a. Prem (Bobby Deol) are two conmen based in Varnasi, and they manage to trick sir Yograj by playing members of the multi-billionaire Oberoi family. Dharam wants his son Prem to charm Yograj's daughter Suman (Neha Sharma) so that they can take all of Yograj's money. The fun begins when Dharam meets his older son Paramveer, who is not thrilled with his dad and brother, who are back to conning people, and this time in the process they are about to take things to a new level with hurting Suman's feeling in the process.

Jugi (Anupam Kher) is an over-the-edge scientist, who wants to make a space mall at 22 Sunny Street in London by forcibly taking over Yograj's club which is located in the same spot. The curve ball kicks in when Dharam and Prem learn that Suman is not the daughter of Yograj, and it's Reet (Kristina Akeeva), who is Yograj's real child, who will apparently, inherit the wealth. Paramveer is genuinely attracted to Reet, and now Prem wants to impress Reet as well. The funny ride gets crazier as Prem's twin 'Q' surfaces in the story, and that takes the humour to the next level.

Sangeet Sivan once again proves that he is great when it comes to directing comedies; he keeps the actors from going overboard when it comes to being dramatic onscreen, and he has created a great movie in the process. Sivan has made the movie very gripping, as he has kept the right blend of comedy, action and drama.

Lynda Deol, who is Sunny's wife, makes her debut as a writer, and she has teamed up with Jasvinder Bath for the screenplay. Musical duo Sharib and Toshi have done a good job, and the Deols make it even better as they groove to the songs in their trademark style. Peter Hein needs to be applauded for his action which is simply awesome; the club fight where four men go flying through the glass and also the finale when Sunny wrestles the Sumos, looks real. Cinematographer Neha Parti does a fine job. Editor Chirag Jain has done a stupendous job as he keeps the movie tight.

Legendary actor Dharmendra is superlative, at 77 as he has managed to pull off a very unusual role with grace. Dharamji's comic timing is great, and his dialogue delivery is impactful. Sunny Deol is the 'Super Sardar' of the movie, and he adds energy with his power packed action. Sunny's softer side is reflected in the romantic scenes and also when he cares for his own people. Bobby Deol is back, he almost plays a double role - a conman and a famous painter; he looks good and pairs up well with his co-star too. Neha Sharma is vivacious, she acts and dances well and looks super cute; she shines in the 'Raymunda' scene. Kristina Akeeva makes a great debut; she looks very pretty and makes a sincere effort.

Orangutan Einstein is awesome, he is so much fun to watch when he paints, dances or does the workout. Annu Kapoor is outstanding; he has managed to get the NRI accent right and has done a great job. In fact, Anupam Kher plays the crazy scientist to perfection, after a long time one gets to see a comic villain. Johnny Lever and Sucheta Khanna share a superb comic chemistry; they bring about great variations in their role.

Overall 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2' is a full-on family entertainer and a great movie to checkout before the kids get back to school.
