The upcoming film 'Godfather' is quite a challenging one for the cast and crew of the film. The film-makers had a herculean task to find three female actors to cast in their film as Upendra will star alongside them. “I wanted to choose one or two Kannada speaking girls for this project.  Somehow, some of the heroines who were contacted declined the offer because it had three heroines and feared that their roles would be smaller. I had no other go but to search for heroines from outside.” says Vasu. On the other side Darshan will not have any one of them but will have three different characters to play in the same film.

Darshan, who till now has had a good run at box-office, has teamed up for the fourth time with Director H. Vasu for their film 'Godfather'. The film is produced by Kumar Brothers from Hyderabad.

The director Vasu has also written the screenplay with the help of M.S Ramesh. The latter has penned the story and the dialogues for the film. The film is all set to go on floors on the auspicious eve of Vara Mahalakshmi festival day on August 12. The music for the film will be composed by V Harikrishna, whereas Krishna Kumar is the Cinematographer.
