The trend is common throughout the Indian films, be it in Hindi, Telugu or Kannada, the films fail to garner commercial profits. The multi-talented Roopa Iyer has proved all the pre-conceptions wrong.

The writer-director cum producer Roopa's offbeat film 'Mukhaputa' was based on an unconventional topic of AIDS which has earned over Rs.1 crore in the span of three years.
