Thugs pass the 100 cr mark in the opening weekend

Two legendary Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan joined hands for 'Thugs of Hindostan' but things didn't turn out to be as predicted. After disappointing public reviews and worst critic rating 'TOH' is considered to be the most flop film of 2018 as some say it.

Starring Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh as the female lead, the ladies couldn't leave an impact on the audiences and even after being so disastrous, this Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial pass the 100 cr mark on the opening weekend. Only Aamir and Amitabh power pulled the crowd to be precise. Although a downfall was observed in the box-office collection, raking Rs. 50 crore in a day is the highest collection ever in the Indian box-office so far.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures: "HINDI: Thu 50.75 cr, Fri 28.25 cr, Sat 22.75 cr. Total: Rs 101.75 cr TAMIL + TELUGU: Thu 1.50 cr, Fri 1 cr, Sat 75 lakhs. Total: Rs 3.25 cr Total: Rs 105 cr [5000 screens] India biz. #TOH"

Minting a sum of  Rs 22.75 crore on Saturday, the Thugs cruise towards the total to Rs 105 crore. At the end of three days, the Hindi version had made Rs 101.75 crores. Each day noticed a downfall as from Thursday to Friday the film's collection dropped to a massive 44.33% and further 19.47% and with passing time the theatres might get empty soon.
