Actor-and-singer Justin, 30, and 29-year-old movie star Jessica first began dating in 2007, although they had been plagued by rumours of a split for some time.

The pair have now confirmed their relationship is over in a joint statement, and have been quick to insist there are no hard feelings.

Addressing the media speculation regarding Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlakes relationship, we are confirming that they mutually have decided to part ways, said their representative.

The two remain friends and continue to hold the highest level of love and respect for each other.

A source close to the former couple has backed up the statement, telling People the relationship had simply run its course and they both decided it was time to move on.

However, other emerging reports have been suggesting conflicting reasons for the break-up. One insider told E! Online pop star Justin had been the one to initiate the split, reportedly leaving gorgeous Jessica devastated.

But a pal of the actress has hit back at those claims, dismissing any suggestions that Jessica is in turmoil. According to the friend, the talented actress is coping well, and looking forward to focusing on her blossoming career.
