She danced her way to our hearts with "Hawa Hawaii", she won our hearts with her performance in 'Sadma', she gave few of the best performances in the history of cinema in movies like 'Mooondram Pirai', 'Himmatwala' and 'Sadma'. This lady, still in great shape, is said to be making a comeback through Gauri Shinde's 'English Vinglish'. Yes, she is none other than our very own Sridevi.


Born on the 13th of August 1963 in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, Sridevi started her career very young, as a child actor in the movie 'Kandan Karunai' in 1967. As a teenager, she acted in many Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam movies. She later worked in many films and really made her mark with movies like 'Sadma', 'Chandni', 'Mr. India', etc...


Sridevi married Boney Kapoor, the film producer and the elder brother of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor. They have two daughters Jhanvi and Khushi.
