Looks like the disruption caused to the shooting of Karthi's forthcoming film Alex Pandian, allegedly by members of Film Employees Federation of South India, is snowballing into a big a problem in the industry.
On Wednesday, office bearers of Tamil Film Producers Council, led by president S A Chandrasekaran, met the State Labour Commissioner and lodged a complaint against workers.
This comes just a week after shootings of Tamil movies, which came to a halt for more than month due to a tussle between producers and workers, started thanks to the intervention of Labour Department officals.
Talking to journalists, S A Chandrasekaran said, 'This sudden act (to halt the shooting of Alex Pandian) by workers has a come as a shock to us, when wage revision talks were going on in a smooth track. The producer has incurred huge loss because of this.'
