'Turpeya' depicts Bharat's longing for his homeland

22nd May 2019

Crooned by Sukhwinder Singh and composed by Vishal-Shekhar, 'Turpeya' is a track from 'Bharat' showcasing Salman Khan's longing for his homeland.

Previous few songs captured his various professions he has portrayed in the flick. From a circus stunt artist to a miner to an indivdual employed by the Naval Forces in 'Turpeya'.

Lyrics by Irshad Kamil completely justify Salman's longing for his family as he sees a little girl reminding him of his sister. A white wedding set up reminds him of his ladylove played by Katrina Kaif and times spent with her.

Actress Nora Fatehi's appearance is more like a blink and miss appearance unlike her previous special numbers in the movies this one barely establishes her. Audience gets a glimpse of her belly dancing skills to a certain extent.

Track also features actor Sunil Grover who plays Khan's onscreen pal right from his adolescence.

Sharing the song Khan, Tweeted, "Main turpeya ghar se dur! #TurpeyaSong OUT NOW - http://bit.ly/TurpeyaSong @Bharat_TheFilm @aliabbaszafar @atulreellife @itsBhushanKumar #KatrinaKaif @Norafatehi @VishalDadlani @ShekharRavjiani @Sukhwindermusic @Irshad_Kamil @nikhilnamit @reellifeprodn @SKFilmsOfficial @TSeries"

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, 'Bharat' is set to release on June 5, 2019 on Eid. Click here to watch the song.
