S. R. Prabhakaran, a former associate of Shashikumar, made an impressive directorial debut last week with 'Sundarapandian', which had his mentor himself in the lead role.

And now, impressed after watching 'Sundarapandian', leading producer Udhayanidhi Stalin has signed Prabhakaran to do a film for his 'Red Giant Movies' Banner.

Immediately after watching the film, Udhayanidhi tweeted:

"Sundarapandian! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Superb performance by everyone! Watch it with family and friends! Congrats Shashikumar sir and the team".

And within few days after that, he met Prabhakaran and signed him for his forthcoming film. The elated director says, "I can't ask for more. I am happy to direct my second film for Red Giant".
