Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies, who is known for producing and distributing films directed by many popular directors, will launch a new filmmaker soon. Guess who it is? It is none other than his wife Kiruthiga.

Kiruthiga has made many short films in the past and she also runs a Chennai based lifestyle magazine. 'Recently, she narrated a storyline to Udhayanidhi. The producer fell in love with it and volunteered to produce it as a feature film,' sources say.

'It will be a romantic entertainer with loads of comedy. A popular writer has been entrusted with the task of penning dialogues. A leading actor and actress will be roped in to play the hero and heroine,' add sources.

Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi is making himself ready for the release of his maiden venture as hero, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, directed by Rajesh M of Siva Manasula Sakthi and Boss Engira Baskaran fame. The movie is expected to hit the screens this April.
