October 5, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Acclaimed Hollywood actress Susan Sarandon recently spokeabout the sadness that engulfed her after splitting from Tim Robbins. They were married for 23 years, and the split occurred last December. She also revealed that she never wanted it and the split between Tim and her is something that she admits, she had never expected.

The 63-year-old actress with Tim Robbins have two sons Jack, 21, and Miles, 18. Susan also has a 25-year-old daughter, Eva Amurri, from her previous relationship. She acclaimed that people were utterly shocked with the news of their split; some even broke down after they heard the news.

Susan had married Chris Sarandon, who was her fellow student, way back in 1967. The couple divorced after 12 years. She also decided never to marry again as she thought that her forthcoming relationships would be stronger, without an official recognition. However, her beliefs are shattered now.

The leading lady of much-admired movies like Stepmom, Shall We Dance, Middle of Nowhere and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, said that her unwanted and absolutely unanticipated split has left her in a state of grief and sadness. We just hope that this maverick actress recovers from her grief and sadness soon.
