Up next: Bromance for Khans?

18th August 2014

Of lately many youngsters have been bonding a lot despite of being pitched against each other as rivals in the industry.

Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, etc. all have been very cordial with each other regardless of the fact that they all are stiff competition.

This comes as a sheer surprise as the previous generation stars always maintained a safe distance from their contemporaries. But now it seems that the seniors have learnt a lesson from their juniors.

The famous Khan trio - Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan who entered the industry around the same time have been both on and off screen rivals for the longest time now.

Though Salman and Shah Rukh have been good friends in the past, Aamir continues to be on great terms with Salman.

The trio's relationship graph has been full of ups and downs. But now it seems that the gen-x has inspired them to be more open in terms of maintaining equations.

Like the aforementioned younger lot, the Khans too have been inclined towards each other. They have started talking about each other's films and are openly praising the same.

While SRK has repeatedly claimed that his kids are Salman's great fans and he loves his action flicks, Salman too has praised SRK for his hard work and success. Aamir who goes out of his way to promote Salman and his films has been very cordial when it comes to SRK. But now they are taking the relationship to another level.

While Salman praised SRK's upcoming film 'Happy New Year's theatrical trailer on a social media platform recently, Aamir postponed the release of the second poster of 'PK' so that it doesn't clash with SRK's film launch.

As Shah Rukh had booked the dates long back, Aamir thought it was only fair for him to compromise and rearrange the poster launch event.

Industry experts claim that these are positive signs of change. "It is a good thing. Everyone has become professional. Since the stakes for their films are so high, all their attention is on work. The competition has become tough. Besides, they always had respect for each other," said Filmmaker David Dhawan.
