10th June 2012

After a dry run at the box office in 2011, Akshay Kumar is having a time of his life with the success of two back to back hits in 2012. He has had two releases till now, and both his films 'Housefull 2' and 'Rowdy Rathore' have set the cash registers ringing at box office.

Both his mentioned films have garnered huge moolah that has bought in much relief for Akshay. But despite the huge success, Akshay has his feet set firm on ground.

Akshay revealed that though he works equally hard for every film, he doesn't expect each one to turn out to be a blockbuster.

"Honestly, I don't expect to get it right every time, but it is nice when people notice and appreciate my work. It's a huge compliment for me more so, because I'm not the kind of man who looks for appreciation. But when it is screaming at me loud from every corner I really enjoy it," said Akshay, who has been flooded with compliments for his comeback action film 'Rowdy Rathore'.

But despite his films minting crores at box office, he confessed that he doesn't count himself in the league of his contemporaries, "Being a Kumar, I would never put myself in any league, either with the Khans, Bachchans or Kapoors. I'm happy taking back seat, bottom seat, even no seat at all," said Akshay with smile.
