Model turned actor Upen Patel has been missing from the industry since quite some time. However, looks like the actor is all set to make a comeback.

Upen is not only returning to films but also making his Kollywood Debut. Reportedly, the star has been roped in for Shankar’s upcoming venture 'I'. 

Owing to his macho physique, Upen suits best to the role. "For quite some time Shankar has been looking for an actor with a powerful built to take on the lead actor Vikram," revealed a source. 

Upen specialy flew down to Chennai and was seen visiting Shankar's office.
